Research Study Coordinator 1

Research Study Coordinator 1. This position is a Civil Service, Full Time position in the Behavioral Health Innovations group at Washington State University, Spokane. This position is responsible for coordinating & overseeing the implementation of research studies, monitoring ongoing studies and projects to ensure that protocols are met, and assist with data collection management, security, and protocol adherence. Knowledge of human subjects regulations, policy, and procedure will also be utilized. Projects may include assessment of individuals with drug and alcohol problems, contingency management interventions, database entry (RedCap) and data management, and working with community partners, providers, and other WSU team members. Two (2) years of college level coursework in a relevant academic area, and two (2) years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience are required for this position. Additional requirements include experience recruiting study participants for research studies and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications include: evidence of strong interpersonal skills, competence communicating and working with health professionals, faculty members, researchers, and diverse groups, and experience working with individuals experiencing mental health or addiction problems. Salary of $2,827 per month.
