Administrative Associate I, Health Professions
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time administrative associate to
provide office support and receptionist duties for the emergency medical services, occupational
therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant and radiologic technology department heads and
faculty members, as well as back-up support for the nursing department.
Duties include maintaining student records; completing purchase requisitions and other forms; preparing and proofing reports, faculty loads, program schedules and part-time contracts; reconciling budgets; ordering supplies; assisting with allied health program admissions; tracking student admission documents; preparing student correspondence; collaborating with the department of admissions and records; assisting with accreditation documentation; and general clerical and receptionist duties.
Requirements include a high school diploma or the equivalent; two years of office experience; and excellent organizational, human relations, and Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word, Excel and Publisher. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Creole, have an associate degree in a relevant field and/or worked in a higher education setting.
Wor-Wic offers a very competitive benefits package that few employers in our area can match. This is a full-time position with excellent fringe benefits. The starting salary for these positions will vary based on the successful candidate’s education and experience and will likely not exceed $21.00 per hour, but will be no less than $15.95.
