Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Collaborates cross functionally with others to assure accurate financial reporting information
- Prepares, maintains, and develops schedules, reports, and analyses for internal/external customers
- Compiles, prioritizes, and analyzes data to support certain accruals and estimates
- Assists with the monthly close process
- Comprehends and prepares journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements
- Provides information and explanations for audit requests from internal/external auditors
- Communicates and coordinates with company partners
- Works with significant amounts of detailed data
- Other duties as assigned
- Supports reporting for regulated entities
- Facilitates and records field accruals
- Supports legal project processes
- Responds to general regulated accounting inquiries
- Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major with a strong accounting focus with a graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship
- Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
- Available to work some overtime as the need arises during critical quarterly closings/reporting
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
