Western Union currently has openings for Senior Production Support Analysts in Denver, CO to operate, monitor and perform troubleshooting of Hardware, Applications, Middleware, Data and Batch processing. Positions require a degree and experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related; and 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience as a Test Lead, Associate, Senior Systems Engineer, or related, which must include some experience with: Point of Sale (POS) application, maintenance of the inventory, databases, messaging queues, related upstream downstream systems for successful transaction flow; Configuring, developing, scripting & testing in Unix / Shell script; multi-model database management systems execution of Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Data Warehousing (DW) and maintenance of heterogeneous database environments with Oracle PL/SQL; Tibco Admin/CLE; Data Analytics and reporting experience in Tableau / Cognos to classify the organization’s historical data to make effective business decisions; Using Splunk / Dynatrace for searching, capturing, monitoring, indexing and co-relating real-time date to generate alerts, reports and dashboards; and ServiceNow / JIRA for Incident, Problem, Change management, Service request and project management.
