Full-time Faculty, Digital Media and Design

 

Waynesburg University is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure track, faculty position in Digital Media and Design. Position will begin August 2022. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Master’s Degree in a Communication related area is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. A history of teaching digital media-related courses in higher education is required. Full-time experience in the digital media field as a web designer, illustrator, or photographer also is required. Applicant should have extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, web development and management tools, digital photography and photo editing software, and prior experience producing and posting content for social media to serve an organization and/or an academic institution. Teaching twelve credit hours per semester as background and curricular needs dictate, duties such as committee assignments, advising, curriculum development, internship facilitation, and recruitment of students are also expected.
