Vitamin Shoppe Industries, Inc. seeks OMS QA Lead in Secaucus, NJ. Lead testing efforts and ensure overall quality of our Sterling Order Management System. Lead and execute QA test strategy for Order Management related projects and minor enhancements/defect releases. Work collaboratively in cross-functional omni-channel initiatives with responsibility for communication, coordination of testing across the enterprise system landscape and communicating results. Develop, maintaining and execute test scripts to be used in validating new OMS features/functionality or enhancements and troubleshoot issues prior to release. Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (ETE) , load and performance testing to verify application performance meets requirements prior to deployment. In addition, the role will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Support day to day issue analysis as well as creating Jira tickets for issues requiring development fixes. Provide direction to a team of on and off-shore QA consultants in support of Order Management Projects and Initiatives: Determine whether an issue may be a defect or a possible product enhancement request.Plan, Create, Execute Test Cases in support of enhancements, defects, and projects. Helps establish project methodology and associated time frames. Log defects and enhancements in tracking tools i.e. JIRA. Identify use cases to explain clearly what is being seen, and what is to be expected. Attend daily stand-ups. Estimates efforts for new efforts requiring QA support. Track and communicate QA Plans and associated testing metrics. Maintain and create new internal documentation within a knowledge base to assist in training staff at any level. Provide subject matter expertise and internal training to new users. Work with developers to analyze and formulate business cases for changes to the application. Work with other system QA resources to synergize business and use cases into test cases to ensure risk is mitigated and coverage insured. Supports systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives. Regression test application after each build and system updates. Execute test cases for the project, validate test results and raise defects. Ensure timely escalation of issues and on time delivery of daily tasks.
