Richmond, VA The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support to multiple divisions and organization-wide functions. This position will be responsible for scheduling and meeting support, staff expenses, invoicing and budgeting, and list management, as well as additional administrative support. The Administrative Assistant must have administrative support experience including drafting, proofing and editing correspondence; scheduling and meeting planning logistics; and invoicing and budget management. The successful applicant will have significant experience using programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate should have exceptional grammar and proofreading skills; strong organizational skills; and be comfortable corresponding with c-level executives. The Administrative Assistant must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple projects; work well under pressure in meeting deadlines; exhibit sound judgment in making decisions; and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters. Post-secondary education in business administration or related fields is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Salary minimum: $40,000.
