Business Development Representative

Generate new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. This role plays a critical function in the initial stage of lead generation, followed by a nurturing phase that facilitates customer conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads with minimum 10% conversion rate
  • Prospect, follow up, and reassign accounts once 1st order secured
  • 60+ outbound calls daily
  • Establish contact with new business opportunities via internet searches, current inactive accounts in CRM, customer inquiries, tradeshow leads, etc
  • Process orders, samples, and assist with customer inquiries via phone and email

Skills / Abilities

  • Experience in flooring/trim sales or building products sales preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience of 1-2 years
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work within the US
