Architecture and Engineering Director
The University of Wisconsin Stout is seeking applications for an Architecture and Engineering Director.
The Architecture and Engineering Director leads the Facilities Management Planning and Engineering team, including all long-range and short-term comprehensive facilities planning efforts and projects for the campus. Provides professional expertise in planning the construction, modification, renovation, and design of university facilities and infrastructure. This position serves as a liaison to the UW-System Capital Planning & Budget Office, the WI Department of Administration-Division of Facilities Development (DFD), architect/engineer design firms, and both internal and external campus constituents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities planning, facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction management, interior design, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive experience in facilities planning, facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of facility planning and basic design principles for educational, institutional, commercial, or similar facilities.
- Effective interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
