The University of Wisconsin Stout is seeking applications for an Architecture and Engineering Director.

The Architecture and Engineering Director leads the Facilities Management Planning and Engineering team, including all long-range and short-term comprehensive facilities planning efforts and projects for the campus. Provides professional expertise in planning the construction, modification, renovation, and design of university facilities and infrastructure. This position serves as a liaison to the UW-System Capital Planning & Budget Office, the WI Department of Administration-Division of Facilities Development (DFD), architect/engineer design firms, and both internal and external campus constituents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in facilities planning, facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction management, interior design, or a related field.
  2. Five years of progressive experience in facilities planning, facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of facility planning and basic design principles for educational, institutional, commercial, or similar facilities.
  4. Effective interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
