Adjunct Instructors - The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) instructors for the 2021 spring term. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester. Adjunct teaching positions will be available in a number of departments but greatest needs are anticipated in the following areas: Academic English Program (AEP),accounting, business law, biology, chemistry/industrial hygiene, cinematic arts/theatre, computer information systems, computer science, earth science, economics, finance, foreign languages, history, interdisciplinary/professional studies, management, marketing, mathematics, music, philosophy, and psychology. Minimum qualifications require adjunct instructors to hold a master's degree plus a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the desired teaching discipline. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.
