Brief Summary of Job Description :
This position provides complex administrative assistance to the eCampus Director and the eCampus staff in financial and academic support areas.
The primary responsibilities include (1) Organize, monitor, process, and reconcile all financial transactions for the eCampus department including eSHOP purchases, travel budgets, faculty salaries, purchase orders, and do on and off campus billing. (2) Organize and maintain data sets and create documents for key online education metrics including student enrollments, credit hour production, courses offered, faculty lists, and tuition differential monies. (3) Oversee the receipt, organization, notification, and payment of distance education stipends and grants. (4) Assist with search committee functions and maintain human resources records for the department. (5) Work with faculty and staff in other departments across the UNK campus to address issues relating to budget, finances, courses, programs, and other areas related to online education.
High school diploma or GED. Four years of experience in an office setting, good customer service skills, expertise using Microsoft Word/Excel for a variety of documents and spreadsheets, experience in many computer-based programs and software, excellent oral and written communication, detail-oriented and accurate, excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize effectively, ability to work effectively with associates, co-workers, students, community representatives of diverse cultures, experience working with students.
Associate's degree (Business or similar/equivalent) or combination of education and experience, SAP, accounting or general bookkeeping, university/college education work, HR/Payroll, Concur travel, and budget experience is beneficial.
