Buildings and Grounds Worker
Two full-time, 9-month food service worker positions in University of Minnesota Dining Services at $15.69/hour starting as soon as possible. Hours of work and days of week will vary. A competitive fringe benefits package is offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Setting up/serving/cleaning of food, line server, prepare simple recipes and items on the grill, assist cook and serve food, kitchen helper, put away food and supplies, and maintain clean & sanitary conditions, may include banquet work on weekends and evenings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or GED; able to read, write, and understand English; able to stand up for up to four hours at a time; able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; have at least 6 months of relevant experience or education in quantity food production; and able to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations. Final job offer is contingent upon a completed background check and authorization to work in the United States at the University of Minnesota.
