Director of Development: Planned and Major Gifts
The University of Jamestown seeks a Director of Development: Planned and Major Gifts who will work to build, foster and enhance relationships with constituents for the purpose of preserving and increasing the financial health of the University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned and major gifts. She/he will work with prospective donors to determine their philanthropic interest related to the University's fundraising priorities through annual, capital, endowed and planned gifts while managing a portfolio of high potential prospects. Responsibilities include conducting 100 or more annual visits with donors and prospective donors; supervising the development and preparation of marketing materials to enhance donor communication and interest; preparing well-written proposals.
Bachelor's degree required; experience in fundraising, securing major gifts, alumni relations, Raiser's Edge and RENXT preferred. A complete description is available at www.uj.edu/employment.
