The Lewiston Tribune is seeking an eager and multifaceted full-time sports writer to join its four-person sports staff.
Our coverage area is an eight-county region in north central Idaho and southeastern Washington, and we cover the athletic programs at Washington State of the Pac-12, University of Idaho of the Big Sky and Lewis-Clark State College of the NAIA, along with 27 high schools. The annual NAIA World Series also takes place in Lewiston.
This position will cover the Idaho Vandals football and basketball programs along with preps coverage, occasional coverage of our other universities and work on our sports desk.
Members of the staff are required to design the sports section of the Lewiston Tribune or our sister paper, the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, one or two times per week. So experience with pagination, particularly with Adobe InDesign, is a big plus.
