Public Works Director
The Town of Winter Park is seeking an individual for the Town's Public Works Director position. The position plans, manages, oversees and directs all Public Works functions as well as the day-to-day operations and services of the Department including direct and indirect supervision of employees, project management, street lighting, streets and pavement, snow removal, facilities and equipment maintenance, etc. This position is also responsible for preparing and overseeing the department's budget. A minimum of five years of public works experience with at least three years of management experience required. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration or a related field is preferred. Candidates must exhibit a proven track record in municipal project management and possess strong communication skills with the ability to maintain open communication with staff and the public.
