Town of Windham Water Works

Windham Water Works is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Office Manager. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., $33.78/hour). Under the direction of the Water Superintendent, the Office Manager is responsible for the organization. maintenance, and management of all administrative activities, processes, and programs to ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. This includes making sure all relevant records and reports are updated and recorded properly. This highly responsible and self-motivated position reviews and manages all water billing (CUSI) and accounting functions/computations related to the general ledger for all financial income/expenses, purchasing, and payroll matters through the Town's MUNIS software system.

Must have an Associate's Degree in accounting or business administration; plus five (5) years of highly skilled experience working for a mid to large scale water/wastewater or industrial facility with public contact; plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience as an office manager or have held a related position in a supervisory capacity; or in lieu thereof, an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
