The Town of Truckee is recruiting for a full-time Housing Coordinator. 

Definition:

To perform a variety of professional level analytical duties in support of the Town’s housing program which include provide policy recommendations for affordable housing, work force and achievable forms of housing; to develop, direct and administer assigned operational programs related to housing; to perform professional research, statistical and other analytical work; and to fulfill other administrative assignments in functional areas such as budget, contract administration, grant administration, public information, community engagement, legislative monitoring, and regulatory compliance for housing related projects and programs.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

This is a single level class where employees within this class perform the full range of administrative tasks in support of the Town’s housing programs. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

Receives direction from assigned management personnel.

May exercise technical and functional supervision over lower level professional and direct supervision over technical and administrative support personnel.
