Land Use Coordinator/Zoning Enforcement Officer/Inland Wetlands Enforcement Officer
The Land Use Coordinator will supervise all the Land Use departments in the town and perform services as the Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) and the Inland Wetlands Enforcement Officer (IWEO). This position reports directly to the First Selectman.
Required: Must have a Bachelor's degree in land use planning, environmental science, geology or related degree from an accredited college or program, and have over 3 years of experience in zoning enforcement, environmental planning, land use planning or related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
Special Requirements: Valid Driver's License; ZEO Certification from CAZEO, and DEEP Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Certification.
Salary range $61,658 to $68,000 annual, commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefit package.
