The town of Hamilton is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor, a full time position supervising and working with two (2) other full time employees to operate and maintain the towns water system, including two groundwater wells, one elevated water storage tank and the associated water distribution system, sewer collection system including (4) pumping stations and associated system lines, electric system and associated services, streets and drainage. Applicant must have supervisory experience in operating and maintaining pumps, valves and other equipment relative to water and sewer system operations. Applicant must have supervisory experience and hold CDLs. The job also requires water operators C-well certification and Distribution Certification as well as a Grade II Sewer Collection system operators certification. Applicant must be a licensed electrician or have significant electrical experience, experience in operating trucks, backhoes and bucket trucks, possess good communication skills and be able to manage record keepings, filing and to participate in the annual budgeting process. Applicant must be able to complete work that requires physical pushing, pulling and lifting of objects. Salary will be based on Applicants actual experience.
