The National Resource Center for Youth Services (NRCYS) at the University of Oklahoma - Outreach has been improving the effectiveness of human services for more than 35 years, providing training and technical assistance to programs in Oklahoma and nationally. Specializing in training, consultation and direct service. NRCYS is a leader in youth service philosophy best practices and youth engagement. The Conference Specialist (Program Assistant II) performs entry level administrative support services related to the Center's provision of training and technical assistance services. Duties include data entry, managing inventory, preparing copies and assembling materials, and packing and shipping event materials to various sites in accordance with the OKDHS funded Resource Family Training (RFT) Program.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent 12 months of office/clerical experience required.
Proficient word processing and data entry skills applicable to this position on MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have the ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer. Excellent customer service skills and must be able to work successfully in a team situation with a diverse group of staff. Must be able to follow directions and work well as part of a team. Professional manner and appearance.
Advertised Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry boxes weighing a least 25 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to climb ladders and load dollies/carts on a regular basis. Must be able to perform essential work duties while standing and walking for periods of time.
12-24 months of logistical or office/clerical experience. Bachelor's degree. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Strong organizational abilities. High levels of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
