Gatehouse Attendant
Status: Full Time or Part Time, Year-Round
Reports to: The Colony HOA Gatehouse Supervisor
Purpose/Objective:
Responsible for maintaining & confirming proper access to a private, gated community. This position requires punctuality, customer service, self-management and alertness. In addition, this position may be called upon to perform other related duties as may be required from time to time by the Association.
Duties:
Control all access to community
Greeting every vehicle as it approaches the gatehouse
Enforcing road restrictions when applicable
Providing customer service to owners and their guests
Situation response
Reading all daily log sheets, emails and other communications since the last shift worked
Cleaning gatehouse prior to the end of each shift
Having detailed understanding of camera system and software and check them periodically throughout shift
Responsible for all packages and items transferred via gatehouse
Selling Canyons lift tickets and follow logging instructions and sales protocols
Reporting any equipment, building, lighting malfunctions immediately
Delivering newspapers to subscribing owners throughout community
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods in hot and cold environments
Ability to communicate effectively via telephone
