The Colony Gatehouse Attendant is responsible for maintaining & confirming proper access to a private, gated community. This position requires punctuality, customer service, self-management and alertness. In addition, this position may be called upon to perform other related duties as may be required from time to time by the Association.
Duties: • Control all access to community • Greeting every vehicle as it approaches the gatehouse • Enforcing road restrictions when applicable • Providing customer service to owners and their guests • Situation response • Reading all daily log sheets, emails and other communications since the last shift worked • Cleaning gatehouse prior to the end of each shift • Having detailed understanding of camera system and software and check them periodically throughout shift • Responsible for all packages and items transferred via gatehouse • Selling Canyons lift tickets and follow logging instructions and sales protocols • Reporting any equipment, building, lighting malfunctions immediately • Delivering newspapers to subscribing owners throughout community
Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for long periods in hot and cold environments • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone
