Victorian Inn & Award-Winning Restaurant on the beautiful island of Block Island (off the coast
of Rhode Island) seeks Sous Chef or experienced line cook to wanting to grow with a from
scratch restaurant that specializes in contemporary American Regional cuisine and fresh
seafood. Restaurant 1879 is known for it creative menu ideas, Tapas Menus, Sunset Cocktails
and Dinners and Award Winning 2,000+ bottle wine list.
The Executive Chef's emphasis is on freshness, quality, and creativity. We are looking for
individuals who are relaxed and not afraid work, express their own ideas based on their own
background and experiences and work with the Executive Chef to develop them into a unique
creations for Tapas, Appetizers, Entrée’s and Desserts.
Housing is available for qualified candidates.
