Taylor County is currently seeking qualified applicants for Counter Deputy Clerk in the Tax Assessor/Motor Vehicle Department.

Qualified applicants must have 1 year of experience in general clerical work, 1 year of experience in money handling or cashier work, type at least 45 wpm, and have excellent customer service skills. Applicants must also have a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must be bondable. Applicants must be accurate with numbers and letters. Experience with automobile titles and registration is a plus.

Starting Salary: $24,000 per year ($11.54/hour) + benefits
