Taylor’s Radcliff Print Facility Named “Plant of the Year”
Radcliff, KY (April 16) – Taylor Corporation announced that its printing facility on Dixie Boulevard in Radcliff has been named the company’s “Plant of the Year.” The local facility, which produces a wide variety of label products, was recognized for continuing to outperform on its goals for workplace safety, product quality and on-time delivery.
“We are honored to be singled out for this recognition within Taylor and I could not be more proud of our people,” said John Maxian, director of operations at the Radcliff plant. “It’s been a
true team effort.”
Taylor’s Radcliff facility prints and manufactures labeling products for commercial and industrial applications and is planning for future growth. “This award reflects the positive momentum we’re experiencing here at the Radcliff plant,” Maxian said. “We’ve raised our revenue contribution to the company by 42 percent over the last three years and will soon take delivery of a hybrid digital printing press, the first of its kind in our area. We expect that new technology to open the door to even more growth. It’s definitely an exciting time to be at Radcliff.” Taylor operates 78 production facilities and employs more than 10,000 people globally. The Radcliff operation employs approximately 80 people working in three shifts, five days a week.
Press operators, equipment operators and purchasing and procurement roles continue to be in high-demand at the plant.
