Database Manager (San Diego, CA): Administer, configure, overlook DB design. Set up & test new DB & data handling system. Monitor & measure DB efficiency. Design & prep reports for management. Develop protocols for data processing. Maintain DB results by setting & enforcing standards/controls. Perform requirements analysis. Design & define integration strategies of integrating various DB systems. Create GAP analysis, test plans/strategies. Develop SQL queries & data mapping. Plan, coordinate & implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files. Write & code logical & physical DB descriptions & specify identifiers of DB to mgmt system or direct others in coding descriptions. Requires MS in Computer Science, Engineering (e.g. Computer, Electronic, Engineering Management) or related field & 2 years of IT experience using Oracle SOA, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MS Projects, JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, ERWIN Data modeler, HP ALM & AWS Cloud.
