Summit Health is seeking a full-time adult therapist (PhD, PsyD, LCSW,) for our newly established Substance Abuse Outpatient Program. The program consists of a combination of short-term group and individual treatment utilizing a virtual platform along with in-person meetings. The chosen professional will utilize evidence-based treatments, demonstrate positive outcomes, work collaboratively with referring physicians, navigating patients to hire levels of care as necessary, and providing on-going support services. Clinical supervision and high-level CBT training will be provided. To qualify, a Master's Degree (Doctorate preferred), along with a NJ License in Social Work, or Psychology is required, LCADC is preferred and at least 3 years experience treating a sophisticated outpatient population. Behavioral Health Consultant
Summit Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide virtual assessments, interventions, and navigation to an adult primary care population throughout NY city and the surrounding boroughs. The candidate will become part of a team consisting of physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians and psychiatrists focused on quickly providing help to patients and support to medical staff working to care for all aspects of their patients' needs. The program is virtual with medical staff access the service thru phone and embedded Ipads in all primary care offices. Candidate must have knowledge of evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders, familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation) and a desire to become skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Experience working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and physical health problems preferred. is required. Knowledge of community resources required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree NY License in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology NJ licensed or licensed eligible PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC 3+ years' experience treating a primary care population
