Sustainability Program Manager
Summit County, located in Utah, is seeking candidates for Sustainability Program Manager able to perform professional, technical, and innovative duties related to implementation and promotion of renewable energy and emissions reduction goals for county government and countywide. Promotes policies and community-wide environmental sustainability efforts. Specializes in sustainability issues as relates to planning and building, county operation, and community-wide sustainability initiatives. Works under the general supervision of the County Health Director. Guides and assists the adoption and implementation of sustainable practices into county operations and county-wide programs specific to sustainability issues. Implements and oversees sustainable practices for county department operations and functions. Oversees contracted services relating to sustainability. Supervises part-time, temporary employees, and interns. Salary Range: $64,229.58 - $90,026.04/annually
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited College or University with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Planning, Natural Resources, Environmental Studies, Geography, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or closely related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing the above or environmentally related duties or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License with the State of Utah.
