Summit County is seeking a team player to fill our Senior Engineer opening. The successful candidate will work with our dedicated team of professionals improving our community. This exceptional opportunity includes assisting the County Engineer in managing the day-to-day functions of the Engineering Division. This individual will perform a variety of professional engineering duties related to planning, organizing and coordinating the design, construction and inspection of public works and community development construction projects. Successful candidate needs to communicate effectively, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, federal agencies, state agencies, local governments, coworkers, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; and seven (7) years of responsible experience performing above and related duties. Must be currently registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Utah or registered as a Professional Engineer in another State and be registered in the State of Utah within six (6) months from date of hire.
Salary Range: $74,998.50 - $105,120.05/annually, plus our elite Benefit package. Summit County is a drug free workplace conducting pre-employment drug testing. Applicants must submit a complete Summit County application.
