Summit County is recruiting a full-time Secretary willing to work within a team of dedicated professionals in Community Development, including Planning, Zoning, and Building. Duties include a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, computer operations; telephone etiquette; legal processes associated with the maintenance of public records; bookkeeping; and basic accounting. Must be able to communicate effectively and develop a positive working relationship with supervisors, co-workers, and members of our community. May hire from one of the following levels depending on submitted qualifications and experience.
Secretary I Graduation from High School plus one year of responsible experience in the above and related duties. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have Notary Public Certification within six months of hire. Salary Range: $15.73 - $21.74/hour.
Secretary II Graduation from High School, one year of specialized training related to the above duties, and four years of responsible experience in the above and related duties. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have Notary Public Certification within six months of hire. Salary Range: $17.67 - $24.75/hour.
