Maintenance Supervisor/Facilities ManagerSt Andrew Church
Local church is seeking an experience Facilities Manager to oversee all buildings and grounds related activities. This position requires substantial hands-on-work as well as management, planning and administration skills. The Manager performs and supervises tasks related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, environmental, safety, custodial and event coordination and ensures compliance and implementation of policies as they relate to facilities. The individual must have working knowledge of contract negotiations, maintenance and capital project management, workplace safety and security, purchasing procedures, and employee supervision.
The Manager is primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work. This position requires a team player attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details and project coordination. The Facilities Manager has a clear understanding of acceptable business practices in relationship to church teachings. The Manager has the ability to collaborate with and support the Pastor, staff and parishioners and has a passion for excellence, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Requirements are Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related discipline and 3+ years experience in facilities management position.
