Triple-Nine Digital, a strong and growing division of The Spokesman-Review is seeking a Digital Sales Executive to produce advertising revenue by selling products and services through in field, face to face or virtual contact while working within a team environment to serve the customer, company, fellow employees, and self. This is a remote position and requires a quiet, dedicated homework environment with adequate space and high speed internet. Must be able to remain focused and productive during working hours. Must be able to schedule and moderate virtual meetings with internal employees (MS Teams) and external customers via Zoom or other virtual meeting platforms. Send invites and updates to virtual meetings. Intermediate level using Microsoft Office Products including, Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The ideal candidate will: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of goals and continued revenue/territory growth. Gather and/or affirm information on the customers' current promotion plans and digital brand footprint. Determine the promotion mix needs of advertising customers or prospective customers by assembling and maintaining an information base on the client. Develop an in-depth profile regarding the customer's consumer targets segmented by geographic, demographic and lifestyles, their current promotion mix and their positioning strategy. Conduct a strategic analysis of the customer or prospective customer's information base to establish or affirm if and how our products and/or services can function as an advertising and sales promotion solution. Present the findings of the analysis to the customer. Ask for commitment from the advertising customer or prospective customer. This includes some negotiations and some analysis of rates, schedules, and budget. A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent demonstrated work experience. Preferred concentration in advertising, or digital marketing. Two or more years active experience in advertising and/or digital marketing desired. This position offers a base salary is $28,600, plus commissions at goal is $36,400 (total $65k) plus bonus opportunity above goal.
