Utility Worker, Watertender

Solano Irrigation District accepting applications for:

Utility Worker - $4,092- $5,512/month - based on certifications held. Perform work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of canals, pipelines, pumping plants, roads, buildings.

Qualifications: experience with construction and maintenance equipment and hand /power tools; Class C license with satisfactory driving record; high school graduate or equivalent.

Watertender - $4,092- $5,512/month - based on certifications held. Responsible for water delivery for assigned area of distribution system; clean obstructions; customer contact; inspect systems for leaks and breaks; prepare reports. Perform routine maintenance during the non-irrigation season.

Qualifications: 1 year of distribution of irrigation water experience desirable; Class C license with satisfactory driving record; high school graduate or equivalent.
