Director of Student Growth and Innovation
(Counseling K-12, Career Development, and Mental Health & Wellness)
Overview of Role:
The Director of Student Growth and Innovation will serve as a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet (DLST). Work directly with the Superintendent, members of the DLST, building and department leadership to support the effective and efficient provision of academic and career counseling for students K-12, and the provision of a comprehensive continuum of mental health services that are aligned with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Graduate, Profile of a Shenendehowa Middle School Student, Profile of a Shenendehowa Elementary Student, and consistent with the district’s Values and Beliefs. Proactively communicate with the Superintendent and members of the District Leadership Support Team (DLST). Provide leadership to assure that applicable laws and regulations are followed. Maintain positive and routine public relations with parents and community groups to provide information and receive feedback. Please see additional details as outlined in the job description.

Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Substantial knowledge and background in NYS standards pertaining to academic and career counseling, and mental health supports
- Minimum five years’ experience in administration and supervision preferred
- Valid NYS School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) certificate
- Advanced degree preferred
