ROCHESTER PUBLIC LIBRARY is looking for a Library Director to join our dedicated Board of Trustees.

Under direction from the Library Board of Trustees, the Director develops, administers, supervises, and coordinates the work of the Library and staff, performs managerial duties related to personnel, budget, collection development, building maintenance, library operations, and services in conformity of the policies established by the Board of Trustees. Grant writing important.

$14 - $15 per hour depending upon experience.  20-28 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 academic years of college education and completed or willing to complete 9 credit hours of library science courses and prior experience in a library setting. PA state clearances and references are mandatory.

Founded in 1971, The Beaver County Library System consists of nine public libraries, and two branches offering books, audio/visual media, programs, activities, and services to county residents and visitors. Supported by county, state, and local funding, our libraries each operate under individual budgets but share many common programs and resources. The Beaver County Library System offers activities, discussion groups, and reading programs for people of all ages.
