Summary
This position is responsible for driving and overseeing the entire Warehouse process including but not limited to Managing Shipping/Receiving and the Attaching Teams, inventory management/accuracy, efficient and effective shipment coordination and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  •  Operation Management: Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Service Level, Inventory Accuracy and People.
  •  Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve inventory accuracy, including warehouse layout, defined warehouse locations, receiving, shipping and cycle counting.
  •  Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely/accurate manner.
  •  Providing domestic and international freight quotes
  •  Ensuring the integrity of import/export documentation such as Bill of Ladings, commercial Invoices, NAFTA and pricing lists.
  •  Assess and improve product flow in both shipping and attaching areas.
  •  Proficient user of the Syteline ERP system.
  •  Manage in accordance with Riedell Shoe’s policies and procedures including interviewing, training, motivating employees, planning and directing work, rewarding, discipling employees and ability to resolve conflicts.
  •  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Education and/or Experience

  •  Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar is preferred.
  •  Experience: 5-8 years’ experience shipping, warehouse, distribution, receiving and inventory management.
  •  International shipping experience such as Customs clearance, HTS codes, methods etc…
  • Dimensional weight calculations vs actual weight is preferred.

  •  Computer Skills – Must have the ability to use a computer and various applications to perform job tasks on a daily basis. Including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer and adapt to any new programs.
