Math Teaching Positions

Anticipated Full Time Math Teaching Positions

Grades 7-12 for the 2024-2025 School Year

Reynolds School District Two full time math teaching positions will be available the 2024-2025 school year. The salary and benefits will be in accordance with the current REA COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. Compensation for this position may be negotiated based on experience and competence in the demands of the positions. Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Mathematics 7-12 certificate for these positions. The individual selected for each position must possess the expertise to analyze and interpret student performance data, knowledge of Pennsylvania mathematics standards, and experience implementing a variety of best practice instructional strategies, and the ability to share this information with colleagues.

Further Qualifications include the following: 1. Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information, 2. Highly developed classroom management and problem solving skills, 3. Strong technology background, with the emphasis on student learning and professional growth 4. Experience/orientation for Special Education/IEP process and requirements, 5. Ability to creatively prepare, communicate, and present effective instructional strategies with the understanding and empathy for students and the assigned level. Completion of successful interviews and meeting all requirements are required.
