Medical Social Worker

As a Medical Social Worker, supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Planning, coordination and delivery of quality medical social work services, assuring compliance with corporate standards and federal, state and local regulations
• Provides ongoing assessment of clients, assuring an accurate evaluation of client needs
• Develops a comprehensive care plan that addresses the social work needs
• Works with patients and families regarding coping with illness, accessing resources, or other issues affecting the patient's health status Links client/family with needed services

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• Master's degree (MSW) from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• Bachelors in Social Work
• Two (or more) years of related experience in a health care setting (preferred)
• One year of experience in home health (preferred)
• License in Social Work
• Must possess valid driver's license
