Regional Sewerage Authority seeks F/T Health & Safety Coordinator to plan and implement all safety-related policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing health and safety; inspection and monitoring of worker practices and the work environment; maintaining all records for compliance, including accident reports and material safety data sheets; maintaining first aid stations and equipment; and coordinating employee safety training.
Candidates must possess knowledge of laws and regulations related to safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in local government/ municipality occupational health and safety is preferred.

Position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of large and small electrical equipment, transformers, motor control centers, distribution systems and other electrical devices.
Must demonstrate the ability to read and understand electrical drawings, equipment manuals and specifications; work from circuit diagrams; and troubleshoot controls and instrumentation.
Candidates must have five years' electrical experience or be a graduate of an Electrical Vocational Technical School, and must possess the NJ Electrical Contractor's license required as outlined in N.J.A.C. 13:31-2.1. High School diploma and valid driver's license are required.
