Purecycle Technologies is looking for an Operations Technician.
The Operations Technician primarily monitors the equipment and processes under their charge. They both control instruments and make sure they're working properly, and they schedule and coordinate maintenance efforts if necessary. They're also in charge of shutting down or otherwise handling equipment during an emergency. Operations Technicians record test results and other data critical to the plant's operation. The Operations Technician is responsible for the performance and execution of chemical management programs.
The position is responsible for analysis of chemical systems, chemical additions, system clean outs, and production support through waste metal bin change-outs. Technical resource to the client to troubleshoot problems and clean out washer and coolant systems. Provides expertise in the application and usage of chemical materials. They also track test results over time and relay those findings to supervisors and engineering.
Operations Technicians will work in shifts including nights/weekends as needed. Levels of Operations Technicians I & II will be determined by education and experience levels. This role will report to the Engineering Technician.
Must have HS education or equivalent and 5-7 years of plant manufacturing experience.
