Project Engineer: Reading, PA & various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.: In depth understand of Power Electronics & ability to understand, troubleshoot various electronics & electric comps for application in overhead & portal cranes. Selection & implement of appropriate electronics/electrical comps to design, approve, implement crane controls circuits per requirement. Prepare, provide electronics / electrical schematics & drawings, wiring details of install; assist technicians in in-field troubleshoot/installs, provide on-site supervision/tech support. Candidate should have basic understand of mechanical aspects of overhead & portal cranes to assist other project engineers in mechanical related projects. Must have strong project management skills to complete projects on turn-key basis. Project management skill include & not limited to understand owners specific requirements, progress meeting, provide updates work status, updates to management & owners, drawing and work-site related approvals, planning, procurement, coordination & resource management. Candidate must be able to work on heights.
Skills required: AutoCad, MatLab, LabView & Simatic. Master’s in STEM related program with major in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or Project management with 1 year experience in job offered or overhead & portal cranes related operations positions is required. Bachelor’s with 5 years experience is acceptable in lieu of Master’s + 1 year experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
