Requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; at least six (6) years of successful professional experience in directly related field; diversified accounting and budgetary experience at the md-management level with any business or education institution (community college preferred); working knowledge in spreadsheets and word processing; experience in working with, or knowledge of, computerized accounting system (Ellucian preferred); office management and personnel supervision experience. Certified Public Accountant license preferred. Responsible for creating, nurturing, assessing, and continuously improving the environment necessary to accomplish the Financial Services Division; authorizes and supervisors all financial transactions, internal controls, and operational effectiveness to ensure that records accurately reflect the financial position of the College; coordinates and directs the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and shipping/receiving functions, auxiliary services. Equipment coordinator, the child development center, and payroll functions. Salary: $62,004 to $72,000 for a 12 month position with benefits.
