Front Office Job Opportunity Housing Specialist Phillipsburg Housing Authority

The Phillipsburg Housing Authority is looking for a highly motivated full-time Housing Specialist. The candidate must be an independent thinker, self-motivator, and a friendly personality to coordinate the application process that includes applicant eligibility, income and rent determinations for public housing. The Position requires full accountability for assigned cases including accurate and complete files, resolution of customer service cases, and responsiveness to participant inquiries. A Four-year college degree preferred or a minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience for a public agency, or related work in the social service or community service field preferred. Must have the ability to interpret and apply regulations pertaining to the program. The candidates must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
