Painesville Township will have an opening for the Administrator position in the first half of 2022. This position reports directly to the Board of Trustees. The Administrator directs the day-to-day operations of the Township. The Administrator plans, coordinates, and directs the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Overall responsibilities include working within the laws and regulations, applying for and administering grants, human resources, and community events. This position represents the Township at a wide variety of meetings and functions, and interfaces with County and State Departments. Attendance at all Board meetings is required. The Administrator interfaces with department heads concerning administrative and operational issues. The hallmark of this position is the ability to effectively handle a wide variety of responsibilities. The Administrator is a hands-on position. Executive/professional experience and/or relevant educational background is a plus.
