VIRTUAL LEARNING SPECIALIST
OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee is currently accepting applications for a Virtual Learning Specialist. This position, in collaboration with instructional and technology personnel, is responsible for supporting the OSUIT Metaversity and the institution’s online and virtual learning and extended reality (XR) initiatives. This position functions within the OSUIT Learning Resources Center as an institution-wide virtual learning and curriculum specialist and serves as a resource in maintaining and integrating virtual instructional/learning technologies while fostering consistency within and across subject/program areas. The Virtual Learning Specialist coordinates with the Instructional Support Specialists and Learning Management System Specialist to promote high-quality instruction and assessment practices in virtual, distance, and traditional learning environments and support OSUIT faculty members through ongoing professional development, coaching, and training. Bachelor degree in Instructional or Educational Technology, Education or related discipline and three years teaching experience required.
