EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES ENGINEER   Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee is accepting applications for an Emerging Technologies Engineer. This position works within the Workforce and Economic Development Department and serves as the individual with primary responsibility for identifying, researching, and supporting new growth opportunities based on Emerging Technologies originating from government and industry research and development. The position is the university’s primary contact for technology-based grant opportunities, working with state and federal agencies to negotiate grant terms and conditions, briefing senior leadership regarding grant opportunities, and positioning the university to apply for funding opportunities, developing strategic processes and plans, and creating innovative business opportunities to generate additional funding for the university. Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university, and 5 years relative work experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
