The Orwell Village Manager receives direction and assignments from the village council, coordinating the efforts of the various departments under the village governmental structure. The manager will administer to department heads as well as oversee financial operations, budgets. Determining the needs of the village and establish grants and proposed projects. The manager will ensure all laws and ordinances of village are enforced. The Village of Orwell is looking for an individual with a combination of experience and training. This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience as a village manager or assistant manager, in a similar community. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in public administration, or business administration is needed. Must be from an accredited college or university, although a master’s degree is preferred.
