GRANTS COORDINATOR
The Nueces River Authority (NRA) is seeking energetic, motivated, bright, experienced individual to join our fundraising team as a Grant Coordinator. In addition to researching and writing grant proposals on behalf of our organization, you will be in charge of maintaining a grants calendar to monitor the application process and keep track of various deadlines. You should feel comfortable reaching out to institutional and potential donors, as well as communicating with company leaders regarding their financial needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who will be able to enthusiastically help our organization attain the funds it needs to serve the community. The successful applicant can choose to be based in NRA’s Coastal Bend (Corpus Christi) or NRA’s General Offices (Uvalde) and work under the direction of the Director of Planning.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field and three years of experience as a grant writer. A combination of demonstrated experience and education comparable to a bachelor’s degree is acceptable. A Class “C” Texas Drivers Licenses with a driving record acceptable to the Authority’s current insurance provider is a requirement.
