Power Plant Operator Senior
The Northern Wisconsin Center is looking to fill two (2) Power Plant Operator Senior positions in the Central Heating Plant. The Central Heating Plant consists of four (4) boilers operating on coal, fuel oil, and natural gas. The steam produced is used for heating, cooking and domestic hot water. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining high pressure steam boilers, other related equipment, and systems, performing preventive, and corrective maintenance. The work schedule is a six (6) person rotating schedule that consist of Night shift (11pm – 7am), PM shift (3pm – 11pm) and AM shift (7am – 3pm). The starting salary is $22.54 per hour (approximately $46,883 per year), with night and weekend differentials available. We offer insurance packages including health, life, dental, vision, accident, income continuation, and long-term disability. Benefits include 3.5 weeks of vacation, 9 paid holidays, sick time, and an exceptional retirement plan.
Training may be provided for candidates that have the appropriate mechanical experience, training, or aptitude.
