Seeking Executive Administrator to work as independent contractor part-time in Tallahassee, FL
Neighbor to Neighbor in the Nenes’ mission is to help elders in Indianhead/Lehigh stay in their homes as long as possible as they age. For three years, volunteers have provided elders non-medical services that they can no longer do for themselves. The organization is ready to move out of start-up mode and to prepare for the long-term. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to participate in a powerful, community-building, compassionate effort to address deficits in America’s long-term elder care “system”.
Job Responsibilities
- Finalize, document and train staff on use of organizational policies and procedures
- With the board, raise funds
- Develop the board of directors
- Document and train staff on Club Express, a computer platform for associations to manage their activities
- Plan program evaluation
Work hours and benefits
- 15 hours/week, $25/hour for one year
- May work from home

Qualifications
- Interest in and compassion for elders
- Self-motivating
- Nonprofit experience at advanced level
- Ability to work in a group and with individuals
- Ability to write clearly
- A sense of humor
- Graduate degree (MSW, MPA, DBA, DSW, etc.)
- Access to personal computer, Internet, phone, workspace
